b. While we make every effort to keep our customers informed and assist with cancellations, we cannot guarantee specific outcomes, including refunds, compensation, or alternative flight availability.
c. We recommend reviewing the terms and conditions of your specific airline and fare type regarding cancellations, refunds, and compensation, as these may vary.
If Your Booking is cancelled or postponed by the Airlines, you should contact Our Customer Service team directly.
Other Emergency Circumstances are purely based upon our sole discretion.

General Conditions of Refund Protect Ticket
General Conditions
1.
Any reason for refund must not be foreseeable at the time You made the Booking.
2.
We do not refund if You made Your Booking by mistake, or it is no longer wanted or needed.
3.
If Your Booking is cancelled, postponed or cannot be fulfilled by the Provider, please contact the Customer Service team directly for further advice about your Refund.
4.
You must make all arrangements to Attend the Booking, including arranging any necessary travel or documents, and allowing suitable travel time.
5.
We may ask for any reasonable additional evidence required to support your application, which may include proof of eligibility and intent to Attend.
6.
You will be asked to provide supporting evidence at Your own expense, along with a copy of the Booking Confirmation.
7.
You will be asked to provide Your bank account details so that we can make the refund payment directly to Your chosen bank account.
8.
Maximum refund value will not exceed INR 10,000 or the equivalent amount in local currency.

Refund Process

Submit all supporting documents and evidence requested to process your refund application successfully.
Illness / Injury
Illness / Injury means an illness or accidental injury to a person included in the Booking or to an Immediate Relative.

What we do not refund:
Where you cannot provide evidence that the affected person is within the Group due to Attend the Booking.
Telephone or online consultations:
Where You have not been physically examined by a doctor before the Booking date.
Conditions:
Conditions that are unpredictable and where the event is more than two months in the future.
Evidence Required
a.
Doctor's Note or Medical Certificate confirming the illness or injury.
b.
Date the illness or injury first occurred.
c.
Confirmation that the illness or injury prevents the person from Attending.
d.
Proof of relationship if the affected person is not included in the Booking.
Pre-existing Medical Condition
Means a physical or mental health condition that You already had when You made the Booking that would not normally prevent You from Attending.
What We Do Not Refund
a.
Where guidelines for Your pre-existing medical condition would normally prevent You from Attending the Booking.
b.
Telephone or online consultations.
c.
Conditions that are unpredictable and where the event is more than two months in the future.
d.
Pre-existing medical conditions of Immediate Relatives.

Doctor's Note / Medical Certificate:
Must confirm the illness details, the date the condition changed, and that it prevents the person from Attending.
Pregnancy Complication
Means a complication of pregnancy that You were unaware of when making the Booking and which prevents You from Attending.

Must confirm the pregnancy complication, the date it occurred, and that it prevents You from Attending.
Demise
Means Your death before the Booking or the death of an Immediate Family Member or any person included in the Booking up to 35 days before the scheduled event.
What We Do Not Refund
Refund will not be provided:
Where You cannot provide proof that the deceased person was an Immediate Family Member or included in the Booking.

Public Transport Failure
Means unexpected disruption or failure of the public bus, train, tram or ferry network which is not foreseeable before the date of the Booking.
What We Do Not Refund
a.
If there is a financial failure of any Transport Provider.
b.
Heavy traffic or road closures.

a.
Confirmation of failure or disruption of the public transport. This can normally be obtained from the transport company's website.
Flight Delay / Change
Means cancellation or significant delay of flight(s) which You were unaware of before the date of the Booking and which prevents You from Attending Your Booking.
What We Do Not Refund
a.
If Your flight is Your Booking and it is cancelled or postponed, your refund will not be paid through this service. Please contact Customer Services directly.
b.
If You were aware of the disruption before the Booking date and did not make reasonable alternative travel arrangements.
c.
If there is a financial failure of any Transport Provider.
d.
If the purpose or reason for which You booked Your flight has changed or has been cancelled.
e.
If You have not allowed sufficient time between connecting flights.
f.
If You have only secured a standby position for the flight.

a.
A copy of Your airline ticket.
b.
Notice of cancellation or disruption issued by the airline.
Mechanical Breakdown
Means, in the 24 hours prior to the Booking, the mechanical breakdown, accident, fire or theft of a vehicle taking You to the Booking.

What we do not refund:
If You did not leave sufficient time to travel to the Booking.
If You did not make reasonable alternative arrangements to Attend the Booking.
Any vehicle You plan to use during the Booking.

a.
Breakdown - A copy of the call-out note from a national breakdown recovery service.
b.
An incident number or report from the Police or relevant traffic authority.
Adverse Weather
Means weather where a Government Agency has issued warnings not to travel which mean You cannot Attend.

Adverse weather with no Government Agency warnings not to travel.
Evidence Required
a.
A copy of the travel warning issued by the relevant Government Agency.
b.
Confirmation of the relevant route closures.
Home Emergency
Means a Burglary, Fire, Malicious Damage or Flood at Your main private residence within 48 hours immediately before the Booking.

Any Home Emergency for which You cannot provide the required evidence.
Evidence Required
a.
Burglary, Flood or Malicious Damage - A Police reference number or evidence of a claim submitted to Your home insurance company.
b.
Fire - A report from the Fire Service and/or Police.
Theft of Document(s)
Means the theft of a document necessary for the Booking, which cannot be replaced in time for the Booking.

What we do not refund:
If the documents can be replaced before or on the day of the Booking.
Evidence Required
a.
Police report or crime reference number confirming the theft, dated within 24 hours of the incident. (Self-declaration is not accepted.)
b.
Email from the Booking Agent confirming that the documents or tickets cannot be replaced or re-issued.
Relocated for Work
Means a requirement to move address imposed by Your current employer, unknown to You at the time of Booking. The relocation may be temporary or permanent and must make travel to the Booking unreasonable.
What We Do Not Refund
a.
Attendance at business meetings or business travel.
b.
Temporary relocation lasting less than three months.
c.
Voluntary relocation or changing employers for a new role.
d.
Where You are the business owner, registered Director, or a member of Your family is.
Evidence Required
a.
Letter from Your current employer confirming the relocation details.
b.
Evidence of residence at the new address.
Workplace Redundancy
Means You are unexpectedly made compulsorily redundant by Your employer with whom You have been permanently employed full-time for at least two years.
What We Do Not Refund
b.
Dismissal from employment.
c.
Where You are the business owner, registered Director, or a member of Your family is.
Evidence Required
a.
Letter of compulsory redundancy issued by Your employer.
b.
Evidence confirming You have been employed for more than two years.
Armed Forces & Emergency Services Call
Means You, as a member of the Armed Forces, Reserve Armed Forces or Emergency Services, are recalled to work on the date of the Booking or are posted overseas and cannot Attend the Booking.
What We Do Not Refund
a.
You were aware of or had scheduled work on the date of the Booking before making the Booking.
b.
You made an unsuccessful request for annual leave for the date of the Booking.
Evidence Required
a.
A note from Your Commanding Officer or Line Manager confirming that You were called into work or duty and that it was not Your original schedule.
Jury Service
Means a summons requiring You to attend Jury Service on the date of the Booking, of which You were unaware at the time of making the Booking.
What We Do Not Refund
a.
Any Jury Service claim for which You cannot provide the required evidence.
Evidence Required
a.
A copy of the official Jury Service summons.
Court Summons
Means You are summoned to appear as a witness in court proceedings on the day of the Booking and were unaware of the summons when making the Booking.
What We Do Not Refund
a.
Any Court Summons where You are not attending as a witness, including civil or criminal cases in which You are the plaintiff or defendant.

a.
A copy of the official Court Summons.
Changes to Examination Dates
Means the unforeseen change to the date of an examination for which You are already registered, resulting in it taking place on the day(s) of the Booking.
What We Do Not Refund
a.
If You previously failed the examination and are required to re-sit it.
b.
Examinations conducted by a commercial business rather than an educational board, school, college or university.
Evidence Required
a.
A copy of the notice from the examination body, school, college or university confirming the change of examination date.
Emergency Circumstances
Emergency Circumstances means an unforeseen circumstance completely outside Your control and of no fault of Yours that completely prevents You from Attending the Booking. The decision to provide a refund is entirely at the discretion of our Customer Experience Team. We will consider each circumstance individually and have no obligation whatsoever to provide a refund.
What We Do Not Refund
a.
Anything which our Customer Experience Team considers is not intended to be included in the valid reasons for a refund.
b.
Any change to Your work schedule, except the situations specifically covered under Relocated for Work or Armed Forces & Emergency Services Call.

a.
Any reasonable evidence requested by our Customer Experience Team to verify the emergency circumstances.
Specific Reasons Where Refund Will Not Be Provided
We do not refund for non-attendance of a Booking directly or indirectly associated with the following circumstances:
Refund Exclusions
1.
Actual or perceived wildfires, volcanic eruptions, tsunamis, earthquakes, or other natural disasters.
2.
War, hostilities, terrorism, civil commotion, riots, strikes or industrial action.
3.
Imprisonment, repatriation or deportation.
4.
Poisonous biological materials, radioactive contamination, Cyber Incident or Cyber Act, or seizure of state property.
5.
Naturalization appointments, visa appointments, IVF treatment or any other appointments.
6.
Failure to comply with any law or legal requirement.
7.
Any Booking originating from Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Russia, Sudan or Syria.
8.
Situations where a refund would expose Us to sanctions, prohibitions or restrictions under United Nations resolutions or the trade/economic sanctions, laws or regulations of the European Union, United Kingdom or the United States of America.
9.
Any refund request made more than 18 months after the date originally booked to the conclusion of the transacted event.

You / Your / Yourself - A person who has made a Booking alone or as part of a group with Us.
Provider - The company or organization responsible for operating the Booking.
Armed Forces - Naval Service, Marines, Army or Air Force.
Attend - Participate in, take part in, use, or be present at the Booking.
Booking - The pre-planned and pre-booked service(s), event(s), flight(s) or ticket(s) transacted with Us.
Communicable Disease - Any disease capable of being transmitted from an infected person or species to another host, directly or indirectly, resulting in quarantine or movement restrictions.
Doctor - A qualified medical practitioner registered with a recognized professional body. The Doctor cannot be You or a member of Your family.
Emergency Services - Police, Fire & Rescue Service or other recognized Emergency Services.
Immediate Family - Husband, wife, partner, civil partner, parent, child, brother, sister, grandmother, grandfather or stepfamily.
Immediate Household - Persons living together at the same permanent residential address.
Paying Party - Any organization or body legally responsible for paying compensation for the failure of the service, against whom You have a right of refund.
